I am a graduate of “The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts” in Manhattan. For more than 25 years the school has provided education and leadership in the field of health-supportive culinary arts and theory. As a chef/instructor, speaker and health coach, I am most interested in food that equates to one’s satisfaction, health and well-being. If there is one thing I know for sure it is that whole foods are far superior to their “denatured” counterparts. My mission is to help people switch from boxed foods to more natural, “whole” alternatives which equate to their satisfaction, health and well-being.

It is an ego state therapy based on the assumption that the degree to which developmental needs were not adequately met is the degree to which a client is stuck in childhood. Together these Resources help wounded child ego states get unstuck from the past, by meeting their unmet developmental needs.

Equine Sports Massage Therapy
ESMT utilizes basically the same techniques applied to "people," but are modified specifically for the equine musculature. With 60% of the equine weight being muscle, full pain-free range of motion, and naturally enhanced performance are just some of the benefits obtained with equines of all disciplines. No animal or human should have to wait to be injured before receiving help. The old cliché of "if it isn’t broke, don't try to fix it" does not apply. Prevention is essential for optimal performance, safety, longevity, and overall well being for horse or human. Prevention is the key as most strain-type injuries are cumulative in nature, and are preventable.

Three important factors for any athlete horse or human are to be as good as possible, to be as safe as possible, and to last as long as possible.

Wounded Warrior Presentation

Sharing the War Experience: an Epic Tradition

Native Americans came together in smoke lodges to listen to their returning warriors. Sharing combat experiences in story helped warriors cleanse their minds and hearts from the aftermath of war. By respectfully listening to their stories and honoring their sacrifices, the community reaffirmed their warriors' dignity in the face of terrible losses.

Warriors today suffer their losses in isolation, feeling that the average American is completely disconnected from them and could never begin to appreciate their sacrifices. And the pain of coping with psychological injury from combat trauma often drives warriors and families into utter isolation.

Thelma Kidd - Life Balance Coach www.thelmakidd.com Thelma Kidd began her professional career as a therapist after receiving her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan. In 1980 she and a friend began Davis-Kidd Booksellers, a general bookstore in Nashville, Tennessee. After seventeen years of managing a company that had come to employ over 200 people, the successful entrepreneurs sold their business to another independent bookseller and went on to pursue other ventures. For Thelma this meant becoming a Life Coach. In coaching she combines her skills as a listener, problem solver, and planner. Being the owner of a growing business taught her many things about running a business, being a business owner and partner, and about herself as a person. She brings that knowledge as well as the experience of balancing work and family to her coaching.
